Step-by-Step Instructions
| Step | Instruction |
|---|---|
| 1 |
Introduction: Show the child the car cutout and other materials. Explain that they will be building their own toy car. |
| 2 |
Attaching the Car Sides: Guide the child to insert the sticks through the pre-cut holes in the car cutouts, connecting the front and back. |
| 3 |
Adding the Tyres: Hand out the black and grey tyres, explaining that these are the wheels. Help the child attach the tyres to both sides of the axles, ensuring they can rotate freely. |
| 4 |
Final Check: Test the car by rolling it. Assist the child in adjusting the wheels if needed to ensure smooth movement. |
| 5 |
Play and Discussion: Let the child play with their car. Engage them with reflective questions: • How does it feel to make your own car? • What adventures will you take your car on? • What was your favourite part of building the car? |
