Step-by-Step Instructions
| Step | Instruction |
|---|---|
| 1 | Prepare the Workspace: Lay out the flashcards on a clean, flat surface. Make sure everything is easily accessible. |
| 2 | Introduce the Shapes: Show each flashcard to the child, one by one. Name the shape and encourage the child to repeat the name and point to the flashcard. |
| 3 | Prepare the Playdough: Let the child pinch, squeeze, and roll the yellow playdough. Help them form thin lines or small pieces to use for shaping. |
| 4 | Shape the Playdough: Guide the child to press the playdough onto the outlines of the shapes on the flashcards. Help them mold the playdough along the edges to match the shape. |
| 5 | Add Creative Touches: Encourage the child to use both yellow and blue playdough to decorate their shapes. They can create patterns or add extra designs, boosting creativity and colour recognition. |
| 6 | Explore with Tools: Show the child how to use the shape cutters and roller. Let them experiment with making new shapes and designs using these tools. |
| 7 | Admire the Artwork: Once done, take time to appreciate the child’s work together. Discuss the colours, shapes, and patterns they used, encouraging them to describe their creations. |
