Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Materials: Set up all the materials on a flat surface so they are easily accessible for the child. |

Identify and Cut Shapes: Encourage the child to speak the names of the shapes on the activity sheet (cone, cube, cuboid, cylinder, rectangle, etc.). Guide them to cut out the pictures using child-safe scissors. |

Cut and Paste the Shapes: Help the child paste the cut-out shapes on the other activity sheet in the spaces labelled “Paste here” using double tape. Check that the shapes match the correct colour theme. |

Demonstrate Thread Weaving: Make small holes using the child-safe needle in the circles on the shapes. Show the child how to weave the thread through the numbered holes on each shape. Explain that pulling the thread will transform the flat shape into 3D. |
