Materials Needed
- Story sheet: “The Fox and the Grapes”
- Cardboard roll (craft roll) with 5 holes
- Orange rectangular sticker
- 2 bottle caps
- Child-safe needle with wool pieces
- Fox tail and face cutout
- Glue

Getting Started with Puppet Making: Encourage the child to start making the fox puppet using the materials. Help the child wrap the orange sticker around the cardboard roll. Offer assistance if needed. |

Thread the Wool: Guide the child to use the needle to thread wool through the top two holes of the roll, forming the front hands of the puppet. Remove the needle and tie knots on both ends. |

Make the Puppet’s Legs: Repeat the threading process through the bottom two holes to create the legs of the fox puppet. |

Attach Bottle Caps: Remove the needle and tie the bottle caps to each end of the wool to complete the puppet’s legs. |
